Hello friends!
I have decided to participate in the 100 day project. It’s basically a challenge where you do something creative of your choice for 100 days. I’m focusing in on creating in my sketchbook(s) for at least 15 minutes a day for 100 days.
Today’s the first day, but I’ve technically shared two sketchbook spreads so far.
I’m sharing single daily drawings/progress on my Instagram stories, and finished spreads on my Instagram grid.
I’m using a Moleskine sketchbook mainly for ink and pencil drawings, and an Etchr hotpress sketchbook for Watercolor and gouache (although I’m not the biggest fan of Watercolor on this paper because areas of the paper really resist the paint. Arches paper is my fave).
My goal is to improve my drawing and gouache skills, and have fun.
Hun bun (my cat) update: She’s had her X-rays done, and thankfully and much to my relief, her cancer has not spread yet. The doctor estimates that we have about two months for surgery. It’s expensive, and I’ve maxed out my monies, so I’m preparing a big shop update to put towards her expenses. Thank you to everyone who’s been supportive, I truly believe your prayers (and my mom’s reiki) has helped my lil beastie.
Looking forward to following along! And thinking of your fur baby 💕
